Don Quixote's windmills, from Toledo to Madrid

A full day with car and driver: you leave Toledo, stop at the Consuegra and Campo de Criptana windmills, and finish in Madrid. The car waits while you visit; no coming back for it and no village bus timetables to work around.

Around 278 km of driving. The distance is indicative; the price does not depend on it, because the car is hired by the hour.

What is included

  • Ten hours of car with driver, with the stops inside the contracted time.
  • 10 % VAT included in the published amount.
  • Child seat on request, at no extra cost.
  • Route sheet issued before departure, with the driver's name and the number plate.

What is not included

  • Tickets for the windmills and museums: they are paid on site and opening times change by season.
  • An official guide. The driver drives; they are not a guide and we do not claim otherwise.
  • Meals.

What could change the amount

  • Going beyond the ten contracted hours: each extra hour is charged at the tariff's hourly rate, and is agreed before it starts.
  • Night pickup (22:00-6:00), on a Sunday or a public holiday: the tariff surcharge applies and it is shown in the breakdown before you confirm.

Why it ends in a different town

A Spanish VTC licence covers intercity transport: a service that starts and ends in the same town is reserved for licensed taxis. That is why we do not offer round trips back to the starting point, even though others sell them: better said here than refused at the end of the booking form.
